RE: [Avid-L2] OT: Rugged Lav Mics

Don't know if these are cheap enough for you but I've used Countryman
MEMWP405B mics for our grade school plays and they've held up very well.
Also have used them for televised worship services. It looks like they
run about $170 each from Full Compass. EMW Omni Classic Lavalier -
Countryman Associates, Inc.

had too much luck with anything cheaper, either they're not rugged
enough, or pick up too much clothing noise, or just don't sound as good.
Countryman has lots of options for color, connectors, frequency
response, and mounting hardware.
