Subject: [Avid-L2] Clipping the pluge on color bars?
I see clipped color bars all the time on masters because the legalizer was not bypassed when laying down bars. I avoid this when outputing but has anybody had a tape rejected because the pluge was missing. Legalizing bars causes some other subtle shift depending on the legalizer and how it is set up. Now that digital unity is the norm am I wasting my time caring about distorting the bars. It seems like these tapes aren't being kicked back otherwise I wouldn't see them so often. Just curious what other's feel.
