Re: [Avid-L2] Bias Sound Soap installed from Soreson Install disk?

Hi John,

Squeeze Pro has Soundsoap bundled with it. The Squeeze installer will
automatically offer to install Soundsoap if you enter a Pro serial
number. With a non-pro serial it just skips over that step. Sounsoap
does have a separate serial number and activation process however. If
you bought Squeeze Pro then you should have a Soundsoap serial number
with it (if you buy online then the Soundsoap serials are at the bottom
of the same email - I don't know where they are with a boxed copy).
There's no harm in simply uninstalling Soundsoap though, if you don't
actually need it - or skipping installing it.
Saying that, if your iMac had a registered copy of Soundsoap (which
would be why it wasn't hassling you) then you probably do have a serial
somewhere. You'll probably have to deactivate it on the iMac to
activate it on the Macbook Pro. I can't remember if the deactivation
process tells you what your serial number is, but they often do. Also,
your Macbook Pro may have transferred the serial number already and just
need activation.

Hope that helps,
Ross
