(for 23.98 material) or remove it (for 59.94i material) if the
preferences are set correctly on the player and a progressive display is
connected. Therefore, I think your best solution is to just make your
interlaced credits and master your DVD at 30i. That way the credits will
show ok on both formats.

Thanks! That was something that I was considering for my tape master --
done via a video insert edit; but, I was liking that my DVD was 23.976
native.
