[Avid-L2] User Settings

I would like to take a co-worker's Avid user settings and adapt them to the way I like to work.

I tried the "new user" feature but it gave me what I think was the default settings.

I tried copying there settings file, pasting and renaming. When opened in Avid it said to add "Settings" so I renamed file name by adding "Settings" but no luck.

So how would I start with his settings and rename them so I can customize?
