We used Geffen extenders for our rooms with mixed success. The longer runs are problematic. Especially at the 1920 scan rate. Geffen laid blame on unshielded cat-5 cable. Our engineers said that was nonsense, just an excuse. We changed cabling to optical and that helped a bit. Now testing the Avocent line and that seems better. Likely changing over all six rooms if testing proves positive.
See if you can run a test before you buy.
Good luck.

"Anyone had any success with extending the dual displays and keyboard mouse away from the CPU?
Looking at all the options I'm interested to see if anyones already found a solution.
Basick idea of both DVI outputs upto potentially 1920X1200 res plus most likely USB for keyboard, mouse and tablet.
Using CAT5 as the interconnect.
Thanks"
