[Avid-L2] Re: mojo blanking

It's possible. It would help to know how fat the blanking is. I read specs to today that blanking was okay up to 12 microsecs. At ABC I was told 10.9 to 11.2. Just for giggles what would happen if you capture composite through the mojo? I know it's a bit of recabling the input but it might shed some light. Another thought would be to set the digibeta to internal color bars and capture it without time code and check the blanking on that. This should eliminate the source as the problem. It does sound like you already proved the source was okay by capturing SDI into the meridian but the bars signal might point to what's going on with the component input.
