[Avid-L2] Re: 29.97 sequence to 23.976?

Wow this is sooooo sweeeeeet. Can anyone confirm that 4.x will matchframe back to a matte key and not give the "Can't Match to Precomputes" message. If that is working come on Avid get the matte key frame rate conversion working. I assume this new work flow of 29.97 to 23.976 means the effects other than matte keys come accross and are no longer tied to the frame rate they were created in. This is huge!!!! I've been remiss in checking the read me of new features but how did I miss this big leap forward. I knew you can mix frame rates on the timeline and it throws on an auto timewarp for source material of frame rates different than the timeline but had no idea I could convert 29.97 to 23.98 and then decompose to 23.98 sources. I'm not bagging on marketing but mearly suggesting this should be touted as a huge time and creativity saving feature.
