[Avid-L2] Media Composer 4.0 Quirks and Questions

Hello Everyone,

We've been using MC 4.0.2 for about a week now, and I have two issues
that I haven't been able to resolve by searching the Avid Forums or by
RTFM-ing.

How does the numeric keypad selection of cameras in groups work? Are the
number keys supposed to take the place of the M1/M2 etc keys? I've read
the manual, but the number keys don't select the cameras in the groups
I'm using.

Is there a bug in the Media Creation settings? I've set the system to
use OMF, and set OMF in the site settings, but capture defaults to MXF
in any project, and won't change to OMF until I open the Media Creation
tab and toggle the OMF/MXF setting.
