We are getting a strange and reproducible error whenever "Rolling Trim"
is used in a 24P film project. Sequences (3 hr rough cut) play normally
(and trim normally) until the Rolling Trim function is invoked.
Rolling Trim stutters and throws up a "Structured Exception,
ExceptionCode:0xc0000005, ExceptionString:ACCESS_VIOLATION" error
whenever you monitor audio and video tracks together. It happens with
both synched or wild audio.
Media is all DNxHD36 from a Baselight system (Nagra audio) and the 24P
project came in from a V2.6 MCA PC.
New user settings/project settings/project folders and sequences were
tried.
We moved the same drives and project to a 2.7 MCA PC and it trims fine.
Put it on a different MCAHD 4.02 and the error returns.
Is Rolling Trim giving you headaches too?
