[Avid-L2] Decompose Issue

Hello my L2 friends,

Got a question about decomposing. In MC 3.5 we take a 30i sequence, change the format to 1080 59.994, decompose it with 60 frame handles, and then batch import the decomposed QuickTimes. Here's the odd part, when we import the clips, it takes the entire duration of the clip and squeezes that into the duration of the clip with handles. For example, a shot is is 29 seconds long is compressed to the duration of the shot plus handles, say 6 seconds. It looks like a chaplin Film ;-/

Any ideas??
