[Avid-L2] license manager is ruining my life

Ok so mid April I flew from the UK to Bangkok to cut a show for Myanmar. Due to a number of issues, 45 degree heat, carrying 10 hard drives, rushing and general silliness I ended up having a heart attack in the airport. Not as dramatic as it sounds, I was in pain for 3 hours and discharged next morning. It's only relevant as it meant I was banned from flying until a checkup which meant I ended up editing the show in Bangkok.

Three weeks later the job was delivered and I got a list of client changes. Go to open Avid and no license manager won't let me. No time to think - I took my exported master into flame assist and made the changes. A week later I get the all clear and fly home.

I find that while I was stranded overseas I had received a new credit card and so the one registered with Avid had stopped working. No problem I think, I pop to the avid site update the info get green lights and 'active messages'. Nope not that easy.

I've restarted the computer. I've re-edited the card info, I've restarted the app manager and still no joy.

I never thought I would say this but having lost a permanent license last year after 3 months of trying to make a payment on their site I've about had it with Avid. They are clearly now a spent force in editorial given the comparison to Adobe's licensing ease and Avid's refusal to offer any help to streamline this process. I'm now starting my next project today in Resolve should it be at all feasible to do the project there I will cancel my remaining Avid subscriptions and move on. This has been an issue for a couple of years now and I just don't have the willingness to beg for help every time I want to give the company money.
