Re: [Avid-L2] When do we get bigger-than-HD in MC?

Unfortunately, until DS can ingest specific file formats all by it's
lonesome (without MC transcoding), output some usable metadata (like AAF's,
optical/scans lists and such), properly display all the myriad
2K resolutions on a monitor without being limited to specific proxy
resolutions, have an interface color that isn't like trying to work while
staring into the headlights of a Buick and have export queues/background
exporting it is also not overly practical in that 2K+ realm.

But seeing as Avid hasn't really done any meaningful development on DS for
the last few years....

Maybe someday I'll be able to buy stock footage from within the DS
interface like in Media Composer. What more could one really ask for,
right? :)
