I know it is SD but . . . The Panasonic AJ-D250 deck is natively DVCPRO but can play and record DV or DVCAM by setting a menu. In Media Composer 6.5 I can capture DVCPRO but no video or audio comes in at all when set to DVCAM or DV. Deck control is OK. We have a couple of these decks and lots of archive DVCAM to capture. Avid have detailed instructions on setting the menus but only DVCPRO works. OTOH, I get video out from the Timeline back to the deck, not problem.
This deck works with DVCAM in FCP7 and PPro CS6 on the same MacBook Pro.
Can I ask if anyone has ever managed to capture DVCAM from this deck with Media Composer?
