It seems at 5 or 5.5 and beyond a lot of little behaviors changed in regards to having to tap a clip name in the bin and then tap it again to highlight the name to add text. Sounds like your open the comment window but have to tap it before typing is a similar behavior. I have found this more annoying than 4.0.5 behavior and the guys that to sophisticated grouping and multigrouping that have QuickKey macros have been hosed by these kind of behavior changes. They may seem little but they really do add up to a lot of what seem to be extra keystrokes when navigating around the different fields in a bin and also in other aspects of the program. Why they changed I'm not sure. Perhaps it was a requirement of new program structures but it is not clear to me why these basic behaviors had to change. Once again the only thing consistent is change. Waiting for Smith Corona to move the "E" key just because they can. ;-)

I agree with you that the behavior should be consistent... I'm cool with that... All I'm asking for is that there are KEYSTROKES to get through this, without having to resort to mouse clicks.
