It's different way of working, and takes a bit of getting used to, but when made a part of your normal bin organization doesn't really take any extra time. Music is auto-tagged as music, and most everything else is auto-tagged as dialogue on import, but you can batch select and change relevant audio files to Music and Effects (or define other roles) as needed.
Then use Export Media to export you choice of audio stems from the timeline.
You can also assign roles to video, titles, etc., so if you want to output a version sans titles (or other video roles you define) you can do it without the need for specific tracks as well.
