[Avid-L2] DaVinci Resolve: DNxHD and Windows

 

This is probably old news to most of you -- but I've been out-of-pocket for a couple of weeks.

DaVinci announced direct support for DNxHD and Windows OS (in addition to Mac and Linux).

Is this just a sign of Avid's stock going up since the FCPX debacle -- or could some permutation of this product be the much needed secret Color Correction sauce so separately needed in v.6 of MC and Symphony?

Obviously, just speculation on my part.
