[Avid-L2] Avid MC Adrenaline Editor Seeks HD-SDI TC de-embedder Solution

 

Hi Editors:
I'm getting a great deal of Convergent Design Nano Flash & Flash XDR footage in for post lately, yet our Flash XDR solid state HD digital recorder/player only allows for source TC out via HD-SDI embedding in the HD-SDI Out. The problem is neither our Adrenaline box, nor the Mojo DX, or Nitris DX are capable of de-embedding source TC signal which is embedded within the HD-SDI stream. This problem has proved to be really HUGE for us for several reasons. Is there such a thing as an HD-SDI de-embedder box, which could output the TC signal via a separate LTC or RS-422 interface ? Almost all of the solid state digital HD on camera recording devices seem to output source recorded clip TC only via the HD-SDI to save on size and plug real-estate.
