Question from a friend.
He's working on an old (2011) powermac with a Mojo DX. got no specs (yet)
Editing AMA linked clips from a EOS C300 Mark II, codec:AVC High 422 Intra
On playing a sequence, beach ball appears and after a few secs an error: "SFPlayConsumer::Execute TIMEOUT"
But the strange thing is, after transcoding to DNxHD 185X there is the same problem.

Can this be content related? (It seems to be on 'some' clips from 'some' shooting days, but happens on high motion shots as well as on talking heads.
Could this be a solution?

Another thing, playing back RT audio dissolves longer than about 4 secs MC stalls.

I'm going to have a look at the set tomorrow, but would appreciate if I could fake that I know what I'm talking about, so any pointers are welcome.
