Re: [Avid-L2] Preventing former AMA files from relinking back to AMA sources?

Move the AMA source file from wherever it exists on disk into another folder. Or rename the source file. That's the only way I know to break the spell MC has over it.

Symph 7.03

I have some animation files rendered in the DNxHD codec on the same
drive as my Avid Media Folder.

I have AMAed them in and then consolidated them so they exist as media
in the Avid Media Folder.

I have then cut the consolidated version into my sequence.

Every once in a while, one of them relinks back to the original file.

Any way to stop that from happening? Any way to force a relink to an
Avid media file instead of an original AMA source?

Thanks,

Dan
