Well, I have a late 2011 model 17" MacBook Pro with 8 GB RAM and an SSD, and MC7 as well as 6.5.3 is currently sucking on it. I get 'Hardware underrun' crashes on it chronically. As I understand, 8 GB RAM is as much as I can stuff in to this laptop, at least that's according to the Apple web site. That doesn't sound right, but maybe it is. Is this true?

I can't get farther than laying out sequence. After that, beach ball of death. Now when I try and open I get this.
