[Avid-L2] OT Re: .mov files import

 

Well according to the Tektronix seminar last week that I've already posted about. According to the data Steve Holmes has read 80% of the programming is still being watched in NTSC. Either through the IRD down converters at the cable/sat head ends or through DTV set top boxes. He also pointed out that many of these are still being fed by the ch. 3/4 RF modulators. Given the amount of time HD has been out that was a surprise but it seems SD NTSC is not dwindling that fast based on the stats that he mentioned.
