From about a year ago. Good times,...
Since the $22 "high", Avid plummeted (to $6) and then rallied to a
lower high, nearly half of that. And has spiraled down again to the $6
range, where it is struggling now.
(Yes, of course, Apple predictably doubled in the same period, even as
it ditched FCP. )
Something to reflect on as we ponder and discuss our future business
prospects.
What I take from this is that Avid stock may be attractively priced
soon, but if it's ever going anywhere again, the company needs to be
shaken, not stirred.
