[Avid-L2] Re: Pan and Zoom Compatibilty Tests on Mac 5.5 to 6 and 4 to 6

Well I tried going from the 4.05 seq pan and zoom effect to 5.5 and it worked. Then I took that to V6 and that worked. At each stage the 5.5 and 6 updated the sequence. Then I went back to the original 4.0.5 sequence and for whatever reason I opened it in 6 where it updated and then I was able to click on import and bring in a still. Don't know why that didn't happen the first time I tried. I even went back to the archived original bin that hadn't been touched just to make sure and it still worked. So now I'm not sure but it seems at least on the mac side in these tests that it is working. I'm going to try to get a few more version 3.1X Pan and Zooms to test before I can be sure. I hate when things seem to work intermittently. I'm beginning to wonder if there might be something that happens when the bin gets auto saved that could effect my results. I can't think of anything else that might have changed from the first time I tried tonight and failed and now when it's working. Oh well more will be revealed.
