[Avid-L2] Pan and Zoom Compatibilty Tests on Mac 5.5 to 6 and 4 to 6

 

So I did a test with an imac mcsoft 5.53 os 10.6.7 making a Pan and Zoom effect.  I then took the sequence to MC soft 6 on MBP OS 10.6.8.  The effect came through and I was able to reimport the still so it all worked.  Staying all mac

Then I took an old sequence onlined on SNDX 4.0.5 on a mac OS 10.5.6ish.  The Pan and Zoom from this system opens in MCsoft 6 and the move is there but like I had found a few months back you can't import the still into the effect.  Nothing happens when you hit the import function not even an error message.  This sequence and the move originally was built on an MCsoft ver 3.1X system.  I guess the next test will be to see if I open the old sequence in 5.5 and see if that works.  Something seems to have changed between 4 and prior and 6 that is incompatible.
