I work on both platforms routinely.... cannot really say that the Windows version is "much more stable" at this point. I'd say they are pretty equal. Plus, working on Mac has numerous workflow advantages.
But Windows does seem more prevalent in in the world of network TV, for what it's worth.
I prefer Mac, at this point. I think a Thunderbolt equiped Mac might actually do the trick, if Avid and it's partners can make the switch. Everything is becoming smaller and more mobile.
